Philip L. Chamberlain, 87, of Cottonwood, died April 1.

He was preceded in death by wife Beverly; son Tom; and brother Ronald.

He is survived by partner Eunice Hill; son Ross [Ruth] Chamberlain; daughter, Cindy [Jim] Scott; two grandsons; two great-grandsons; one brother; and four sisters.

Celebration of life services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 24, at Church of the Red Rocks. Donations are suggested to Camp Olson YMCA in Longville, Minn.

Bonnie Fay Crosby, 88, of Sedona, died April 9.

Born in Little Rock, Ark., she was a resident of Sedona since January 2014.

She is survived by her daughters Barbara [Kevin] O’Connor of Sedona and Lorraine [Mark] Duewiger of Anthem; grandchildren Sarah, Heather, Anna and Emily; and great-grandchildren Harper, Bryce, Nicholas and Aiden.

A memorial Mass was held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Cottonwood.

He was preceded in death by his son Michael.

He is survived by his son and wife, Mark and Rhonda Gummerman of Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla., and two grandchildren.

A memorial service will take place, Friday, April 17, at 11 a.m. at The Church of the Golden Age. Donations are suggested to a favorite charity in lieu of flowers.

She is survived by her daughters Marsha Lieberman of Chicago and Cynthia Ruda of Sedona.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother David.

She is survived by her husband Rollin, son Paul, daughter Cheryl and husband Danny Benton; sister-in-law Linda Cotter; nephews Brian and Michael Cotter; and nephews and nieces by marriage.

A celebration of life service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, April 23, at the Westcott Funeral Home in Cottonwood. Donations in her memory are suggested to Northern Arizona Hospice.

Betty Jane Greenwood, of Sedona, died Dec. 28, 2014.

After working as a systems analyst and computer programmer, she retired to Sedona in 1998 and volunteered with many groups.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale Hubbert Greenwood.

She is survived by her sister June Kerseg-Hinson; half-sister Janice Ann Kerseg; children and grandchildren; and her son Dale [Carol] Greenwood of Sedona.

She is survived by her husband, Mario; son Paul Evola; daughters Shannon Evola and Katy Schilz; friend Michele Koglar; and dog Zito.

A private celebration of life will be held with family and friends at the Birch home in Cornville on Saturday, May 9, at 2 p.m. Burial will take place in Valley View Cemetery in Clarkdale.

Nancy Lynn Greenlaw, 62, of Sedona, died April 30.

She lived throughout the U.S. and Europe until her father retired in Phoenix. She attended Arizona State University, pursued a master’s degree and worked in the community college system.
Upon retirement, she volunteered at the Sedona Public Library.

She is survived by her sister Leslie [Ralph] Rake of Bellevue, Wash.; aunt Mildred Hamilton of Lewiston, Idaho; and many cousins.

Donations in her memory are suggested to any organization that helps animals.

A visitation will be held at Westcott Funeral Home in Cottonwood on Thursday, May 14, from 6 to 9 p.m. Services will take place at Rock of Ages Lutheran Church, 390 Dry Creek Road in Sedona on Friday, May 15, at 10 a.m. Burial at Valley View Cemetery in Clarkdale will follow the service.

Tom Johnson, of Sedona, 81, died April 20.

After earning a B.S. and M.A. degree, he taught English and math, and coached soccer. He served as editor for a national church organization. He moved to Sedona to design custom homes and pursue writing, authoring “On the Lam.” He was also a cartoonist and loved golf.

He is survived by his wife Amy; son Devin [Heather]; daughter Beth; and grandaughters Allyson, Emily and Sophie.
