Kay Wisbey, of Sedona, died Jan. 20.

She was preceded in death by husband Tom, parents Joseph and Bertha Spahn and sisters Florence, Cecilia, Helen and Josephine.

She is survived by children Laura and Lynn [Ted] Lockett of Mt. Shasta, Calif.; George Wisbey of Cascade, Idaho; Mark [Donna] Wisbey of Sedona; and grandchildren Pierson Dewitt, Chris and Candice of Boise, Idaho and Thomas of Tucson.

In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the Sedona Winds Assisted Living Employee Fund.

Paul Francis Ziegler Jr., of Sedona, died Feb. 4.

He worked at the Fansteel Corporation as a metallurgist and developed alloys for the aerospace industry, including the Apollo 11 moon-landing mission.

He was preceded in death by son, James Ziegler.
He is survived by his wife Dona, daughter Carolyn Ziegler Wilson, son Jeffrey Ziegler and grandchildren Zachary, Katie, Rita and Barrett.

In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to Sedona Fire District Station No. 3, or the Prostate Cancer Foundation.

She is survived by her daughter, Pamela [Bill] Klauser of Sedona and her son, Jerry Musielak of Bonita Springs, Fla.

A celebration of her life will be held Monday, Feb. 24, at 11 a.m. at St. John Vianney Catholic Church.

She lived in Sedona from 1979 to 2006, and was active in the Sedona Chamber Music Society and Harmony Hills.

She was preceded in death by her husband Wells M. Wait.

She is survived by her sons Peter [Kathryn] and John of Las Vegas N.M.; daughter Sally, of Santa Fe, N.M.; son Thomas of Milwaukee; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

She is survived by her two sons Michael and Troy; and preceded in death by her husband Kent in October 2013.

She will be inurned at the Sedona Methodist Church following a celebration of her life.

Judith “Judi” Kay Mowry, 61, of the Village of Oak Creek, died Feb. 15.

Judi is survived by husband Donald Mowry; son Steve Mowry; daughter Paula Mowry; three brothers; three sisters; two grandchildren; and many other relatives.

She is preceded in death by her parents and brother.

A ceremony will be held on Saturday, Feb. 22, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Greer’s Mortuary of Sedona.

Donations may be made to National Multiple Sclerosis Society or the American Cancer Society.

He is survived by his partner Tony Rocha; sister Therese [William] Maycunich of Iron Mountain, Mich.; brothers John [Sally] of Middleton, Idaho; Jerry of Kingman; and Jim [Barb] of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services will be held Friday, Feb. 28, at noon at St. John Vianney Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Tony Rocha, P.O. Box 101, Sedona, AZ 86539.

Born in Manhattan, N.Y., she was a Sedona resident for 37 years.

She is survived by her son Alan Schmidt of Florida; daughter Lisa Schmidt of Sedona; grandson Bill Schmidt; granddaughter April Bogue; and great-grandsons Dennis, Eric and Nicholas.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 8, at 3 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 100 Northview Road in Sedona.

Born in Kaunas, Lithuania, she is survived by her daughters, Daina Boeschenstein of Dallas, Rima Borgogni of Sedona, MildaBorgogni of Sedona and grandchildren Alexandra, Dylan, Cameron, Joshua and Kaleb.

Her love of life, laughter and sunshine will live on through each of them.

A celebration of life memorial will be held this spring for family and friends.

He was born in Lansing, Mich., to Richard Duncan Sr. and W. June Duncan.

Ricky was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Virginia “Ginny” Duncan; his daughter Jessica [Danny]; his sister Robin; and two nieces, Hayley and Eva.

There are no services currently planned, however, memorial donations in his name may be made to Northern Arizona Hospice at 269 Candy Lane, Cottonwood, AZ 86326.

He is survived by his son Paul Miller; daughter Karen Stupak; sister Josephine Olason; grandsons John [Antonia] Stupak and James [Kelly] Stupak.

A memorial Mass will be held Tuesday, March 18, at 11 a.m. at St. John Vianney Catholic Church. Inurnment will be at Arlington National Cemetery.

Judy Valencia, 62, of Camp Verde, died March 9.

Born in Sandusky, Ohio, to Bob and Elinore Crapsey, she married Randy Valencia on Aug. 19, 1989. She moved to Camp Verde in 2005 and was a dedicated employee of Larson Newspapers as a graphic artist.
She enjoyed studying local history and was a board member for the Clear Creek Cemetery as well as a founding member of the Verde Valley Spirit Seekers. She loved photography, her pets and had a colorful personality.

She is survived by her husband Randy; her daughter Blaze, a student at NAU; and her son Cody of the U.S. Marine Corps.

A casual memorial will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, March 22, at the Clear Creek Cemetery in Camp Verde.

G. Allan “Al” Witte, 83, died March 11.

He moved to Sedona in 1993 to serve at Rainbow Ray Focus Church. He volunteered at Sedona Police Department.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Rev. Rosemarie; children, Gary [Michelle] Witte, Ron [Bea] Witte, Russ [Joan] Witte, Greg Meidlinger, Lisa [Wade] Bryant, and Jeff [Marguerite] Meidlinger; 11 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Private services were held. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to Rainbow Ray Focus Church in Sedona.
