She was born on May 25, 1935, in Denver, to Homer Lee Wilson and Lois Kennedy.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Cal Troupe; sons Skylar Troupe [Teresa Fallon] of Phoenix and Roger Troupe [Laura Chan] of California; daughter Leslie [Bob] McLean of Sedona; and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband William East.

She is survived by her daughters, Susan [Thomas] Strohl of San Diego, Calif., Patricia [William] Ganelin of Carlsbad, Calif., and Nancy East of Palm Harbor, Fla.; grandchildren, Sarah Strohl, Jonathan Strohl, Kevin Ganelin, Steven Ganelin, Tommy Okuniewski and Trevor Okuniewski.

Services are being planned. Donations in her name are suggested to St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church.

A Sedona resident for over 20 years, he was a retired U.S. Navy chief petty officer.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Diane Leary.

He is survived by his son Mark [Delaine] Rewalt of Millington, Tenn.; brother Richard Rewalt of Michigan.; sister Joan Sackett of Florida; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

A memorial service will be held in September at Kachina Point; date and time to be announced.

Ed Reyes, of Benson, 76, died on May 25 in Gilbert.

He is survived by wife Cheryl Reyes; son Roland [Holly] Reyes; daughter Michelle [Timothy] Sullivan; brother Alfred [Ann] Reyes; sister Valerie [Manuel] Padia; mother Madeline Reyes; and four grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at Wayside Chapel 401 N. SR 89A in Sedona on Saturday, May 31, at 11 a.m.

Reyes was the associate pastor at Wayside, a police chief, fire and police chaplain and counselor.

She volunteered at the Sedona Literacy Center, and was active in the Canyon Singers and Verde Valley Voices.

She is survived by her sister, Betty Heim; sons Richard and John; daughter-in-law Sandy; and many friends.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 28, at 11 a.m. at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sedona Literacy Center or the church.

John J. [Jack] Donnelly Jr., 87, of Sedona, died May 3.

An Arizona resident for 23 years, he served in the U.S. Army in France and Germany at the close of World War II.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Peg; sister Betty Schiffer; son JD and his wife Betty; grandchildren Shasta, Chantell and Brett; and great-grandchildren Baily, Noah, Jillian and Annaleece.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his name are suggested to Northern Arizona Hospice and St John of Vianney.

A memorial will be held at Sedona Winds Retirement Community. Inurnment will be at the National Cemetery in Bushnell, Fla., alongside her husband of 54 years.

A memorial service will take place Friday, June 20, at 11 a.m. at Wesleyan Christ Center.

Marguerite Ester [Newton] Rader, 99, formerly of Sedona, died June 13.

She was preceded in death by her husband Richard “Dick” J. Rader.

She is survived by her son Richard L. Rader.

The Rader family lived many years in California, Oregon and finally in Sedona, where they were instrumental in founding and managing the Sedona Community Food Bank. She was active in the Sedona Seventh Day Adventist Church.

Ole Arne Schjeide, of Sedona, died June 24.

Born in Norway, he came to the United States and served in the Norwegian branch of the RAF during World War II. After the war, he earned a Ph.D. and began a teaching career. He retired from Northern Illinois University in 1992 as faculty emeritus in biological sciences.

He is survived by his wife Sara; brother Bjørn [Rannveig] Siem; daughters Toren and Barbara; sons Erik, Bruce and Dan; their spouses; grandchildren and Sheltie Osa.

She is survived by her son George Campbell [Pamela]; daughter Jeanne Hokerk [Wayne]; brother Doug Hersey; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
